Hiroshi Endo born in Osaka, He started playing the piano at the age of four, and studied piano at Osaka College of Music. 
 

He moved to Tokyo and studied conducting at the Toho Gakuen School of Music under Seiji Ozawa, Tadaaki Otaka , Kazuyoshi Akiyama, Hideomi Kuroiwa, Kazuhiko Komatsu, Morihiro Okabe.
 

In December 1995, He was the first Japanese to conduct Sir Paul McCartney's classical work "The Liverpool Oratorio" and Estonian composer Eduard Tubin's great work "Sinfonia Lilica". 
He was also chosen to conduct the Savaria Symphonie Orchestre for the final concert of the Bartok International Seminar in Hungary in 1996.

 

Mr.Endo has been conducting many concerts for the children in Tokyo, Gunma, Sapporo, Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, Okinawa, and many major cities in Japan with the Gunma Symphony Orchestra, Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Newcity Orchestra, Japan new orchestra ,Tokyo Choral Society and so on.
 

A much acclaimed concert with the Sinsei Nihon Symphony Orchestra(Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra) followed in 1999. and was broadcasted by NHK, and SKY PerfecTV. In addition, It was praised highly with a “Ongaku-no-tomo” magazine for classic music. “It was the making of handsome music!!”
 

In December in 2004, He made him major debut in London. He conducted the English Chamber Orchestra at the Barbican with Daishin Kashimoto(Vn.) Anna Hashimoto(Cl.)
 

Until now, He conducted Kyoto Philomusica Orchestra, Atsugi Symphony Orchestra, Narashino Philharmonic Orchestra, Mita Philharmonic Orchestra, 
Rokko Philharmonic Orchestra, Mitsubishi Tokyo UFJ orchestra, Richo Philharmonic Orchestra, and so on.
 
He collaborated with Wien Seifert Quartet, Elisabeth Ganter(Cl.), Dario Bonuccelli(Pf.), Meinhard Prinz(Pf), and many world famous musicians.
 
He conducted World Premiere of "Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra No.1" composed by Nobuya Monta with Italian clarinetist Michele Incenzo.

 

Recently, his musical activities are not only conducting, He had lecture about "Conducting"(Yamaha Ginza), "Beethoven ninth, charm as seen from the conductor's side" (Hamura city Tokyo) etc.
 

In 2015-2018 He was inaugurated the a chief conductor of "Hastings International Comporsers Festival" and has conducted the Opera "OTOHIME" world premiere of the orchestra version (composed by Nobuya Monta), and many works of world premiere, UK premiere of the talented composers.

 

Worthy of special mention is, he conducted the Oscar-winning composer Stephen Warbeck's "Captain Corelli's mandolin" (with composers playing Accordion) 

In 2017 I formed the "TAKUMI Chamber orchestra and have been music director.

 

Hiroshi Endo is a member of the Japan Federation of Musicians.
